Case files on 2019 April Attacks sent to Attorney General

Colombo (News 1st); Rear Admiral Sarath Weerasekara, the Minister of Public Security said the case files with regard to the 08 suicide bombings on the 21st of April 2019 were sent to the Attorney General.

The report of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry appointed to probe the 2019 April 21st Attacks is expected on the 31st of January 2021, he said. The Attorney General will file legal action with the evidence recorded at the Presidential Commission, added the Minister.
