MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR LAW COLLEGE ENTRANCE EXAM AMENDED

COLOMBO (News 1st): A gazette notification has been issued amending the minimum qualifications required to sit for Sri Lanka Law College Entrance Examination. According to the gazette, the minimum qualification to sit for the Law Entrance Examination from 2021 onwards is amended to two credit passes and one simple pass at the GCE Advanced Level Examination. Previously, the minimum qualification to sit for the Law Entrance Examination used to be only three simple passes at the GCE A/Ls. Furthermore, the gazette also mentions that Law graduates from Foreign Universities will be selected to Sri Lanka Law College, following a special selection test. According to the gazette, all subjects in the final year examination of Sri Lanka law college will be conducted only in English from 2024.
