82-year-old becomes 256th COVID-19 fatality in Sri Lanka

Colombo (News 1st); The Director General of Health Services confirmed a death caused by Covid-19 virus infection. Accordingly, the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection in Sri Lanka is 256.
01.The deceased is an 82 year old female from Ethul Kotte. She was diagnosed as infected with Covid-19 virus and transferred from General Hospital Colombo to IDH Hospital where she died on 16.01.2021. The cause of death is mentioned as an acute heart disease with Covid-19 infection.
