03 COVID-19 DEATHS CONFIRMED; COUNTRY FATALITIES RISE TO 194

Colombo (News 1st); 03 COVID-19 deaths were confirmed on Monday (28), raising the total number of fatalities in Sri Lanka to 194, reported the Government Information Department quoting the Director General of Health Services.

24th December	Male	Darga Town	90	COVID-19 infection with Blood Poisoning, High Blood Pressure resulting in cardiac arrest	He passed away at the Kalutara District Hospital upon admission.

28th December	Male	Theldeniya	83	Exacerbated COVID Pneumonia & Kidney Disease	He was transferred from the Kandy General Hospital to the Theldeniya Base Hospital where he passed away.

22nd December	Female	Kalutara South	57	COVID-19 infection and blood poisoning	She had passed away at the Kalutara District Hospital upon admission.
