Two more COVID-19 deaths reported

COLOMBO (News 1st): Two more covid 19 deaths were reported last night. A 15-year-old boy receiving treatment at the Maharagama Apeksha Hospital and a 72-year-old female had among the deceased, said the Government Information Department. Accordingly, the death toll rose to 183. Meanwhile, another 427 cases were identified yesterday. Of these, 392 were identified from the Peliyagoda cluster while the remaining 35 were reported from the prison cluster. The total number of reported cases in the country has increased to 38,058. 618 recoveries were reported yesterday and the total number of recoveries is at 29,300. 8,577 patients are being treated in hospitals.
