Colombo (News 1st); The Ministry of Public Services, Provincial Council & Local Government says appeals from graduates who failed to qualify for the graduate orientation training programme to be placed in Public Service, will be called up for considering from Wednesday (16).
Secretary to the Ministry J.J. Rathnasiri said the acceptance of appeals concluded on Tuesday (15) and a special committee will commence considering these appeal.
The relevant officials at Divisional Secretariats were advised to hand-over all appeal submitted to them, to the Ministry.
The consideration of appeals will take a period of two weeks, said the Secretary to the Ministry of Public Services, Provincial Council & Local Government.
The graduate orientation training programme for 50,000 graduates in currently underway and another 10,000 graduates will be added to public services after the consideration of the appeals.
