Police uncover details of drug distribution network operated from India

Colombo (News 1st); A raid by the Sapusgaskanda Police uncovered details of a drug distribution network operated from India by 'Kimbula-Ele Guna', a leader of an organized crime syndicate and his brother Suresh.
08 suspects connected to this drug distribution network were arrested in recent days in Colombo and its suburbs.
Around 70 grams of heroin valued at over Rs. 07 Million were seized from the possession of the suspects.
In addition, 02 swords, 04 vehicles, and Rs. 20,000 rupees earned from selling drugs were seized from the suspects.
Sri Lanka Police said the suspects are interrogated on detention orders.
