1900 unidentified narcotic pills seized in Kelaniya

Police seized a stock of 1900 unidentified narcotic pills worth over Rs. 60 million at the Bulugaha junction in Kelaniya. The raid was carried out following a tip-off received by the Criminal Investigation Division in Kelaniya, Sri Lanka Police said. A suspect was arrested along with the stock of drugs and police also seized 3.36g of Heroin from his possession. Following interrogation of the suspect another raid was carried out near Biyagama road, where a suspect was arrested with 3.12g of Heroin in his possession, Sri Lanka Police added. A luxury vehicle was also seized during the raid near Biyagama.
