Civil Security Department to support rice mill operations on request

Colombo (News 1st) ; The Civil Security Department is to support the efforts to continue with operations of Rice Mills across the country, after a the operations of Rice Mills were declared as an essential service. The Presidential Task Force on Essential Services said Rice Mill owners must notify the District Secretaries or the Consumer Affairs Authority of their requirements. Based on these requirements, the assistance of the Civil Security Department will be provided to Rice Mills. The Presidential Task Force on Essential Services instructed all the District Secretaries, Civil Security Department DG as well as the Chairman of the CAA to follow-up on the process.
