President inspects Bandaranaike International Airport in a surprise visit

COLOMBO (News 1st) - President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has instructed airport officials to implement a procedure that will ensure that no passenger entering or leaving the country would be inconvenienced. The President engaged in a surprise inspection of the Bandaranaike International Airport today and inspected the procedure followed during a passenger's arrival and departure and the time taken for the process. The president instructed to deploy more officers to conduct immigration and emigration inspections and reduce the time taken for the process. The president issued instructions for the construction of a separate car park for taxis.
