Bakery product prices to be dropped

COLOMBO (News 1st) - All Ceylon Bakery Owners' Association announced that the wheat companies had agreed to issue wheat flour at the previous price. Chairman of the Association, N.K Jayawardena noted that they will discuss on the price reduction of the bakery products to coincide with the price reduction of wheat flour. Wheat companies decided to increase the price of the wheat flour by Rs 5 on September 6th leading to the price increase of bread by Rs 2.
