Distribution of textbooks for 2020 to begin

The Ministry of Education states that the distribution of free textbooks for the next year will commence on the 16th. The aim is to provide textbooks for all students for the year 2020 before the end of the3rd term of 2019.

The Ministry also stated that the Minister of Education has been instructed to provide all teachers with the relevant teachers' guides.  

Under this program, all public schools and provincial schools with over 1500 students will be provided with textbooks and teachers' guides.

The Ministry of Education states that all other schools can get their textbooks for the year 2020 at Divisional Secretariats and distribution centers established in selected schools.
