Wimal Weerawansa assets court case on August 8th

Colombo(News1st) - Colombo High Court Justice Pradeep Hettiarachchi ordered the court case against Wimal Weerawansa to be postponed to August 8th. The case was in regard to the illegal acquisition of assets allegedly worth of Rs. 75 million within a period of 5 years. The Magistrate further ordered the Head Office of Sri Lanka Insurance, Head Office of Hatton National Bank and the Manager of People's Bank (Deltota Branch) to grant the authorization to defence attorneys to access computer-generated documents submitted as evidence to this particular court case.
