Nine dead in a plane crash in Hawaii

REUTERS: Nine people died in a plane crash in Hawaii on Friday (June 21) the Hawaii Department of Transportation said. Cellphone footage from the scene shows the wreckage of the plane by the side of the road, engulfed in flames. There appeared to be no survivors, the Department said in a statement. The twin-engine King Air plane went down near Dillingham Airfield. It was unclear whether the plane was taking off or landing when the crash occurred. The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.
