Former Chairman of NSB Pradeep Kariyawasam found guilty

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Former Chairman of the National Savings Bank Pradeep Kariyawasam was given a suspended prison sentence and was also fined Rs. 300,000. Kariyawasam was found guilty over the incident of purchasing shares of The Finance Company using NSB funds while being fully aware of the loss entailed to the government due to the decision.
