UNP accepts decision made by the people: Min. Kabir Hashim

Issuing a statement on Sunday afternoon, General Secretary of the United National Party, Minister Kabir Hashim said the people have issued a warning through the Local Government Election. Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesingne was seen leaving Temple Trees around 1.30 this afternoon as results were being released. UNP General Secretary, Minister Kabir Hashim in his release, says the party bows its head and accepts the decision made by the people. The release adds, the election result will be given deep consideration and focus would be to strive towards executing its duties correctly and expeditiously.
