Nearly 2,000 Doctors to Be Recruited for Internship Training

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Ministry of Health states that nearly 2,000 doctors will be recruited for internship training.
The Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. Hansaka Wijemuni, mentioned that they will be recruited in August.
Students who completed their medical degrees in foreign countries are also scheduled to be recruited during this intake.
The Deputy Minister further noted that this move will help alleviate the current shortage of doctors.
