COLOMBO (News 1st): National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) says that approximately 80% of purification centres and water sources across the country have been damaged due to the recent disaster.
Chairman of NWSDB, Chandana Bandara said that the North Western Province and Kandy District have reported the highest level of damage.
He also confirmed that a special relief team is continuously working to restore and repair the affected water supply facilities.
