Avoid Unnecessary Crowds At Relief & Disaster Sites

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police has appealed to the public to refrain from gathering unnecessarily at areas where relief and cleanup operations are underway in disaster-hit regions.

The request aims to minimize obstacles to aid delivery and ensure public safety amid ongoing recovery efforts following Cyclone Ditwah.

Police Spokesperson ASP F.U. Wootler emphasized that anyone wishing to assist with relief should coordinate through the Special Disaster Management Units established by the police.
