COLOMBO (News 1st); The government has announced that students with disabilities who qualify through the Advanced Level examination will be admitted to all faculties across every university in Sri Lanka.
The decision, revealed by Deputy Minister of Education Dr. Madhura Seneviratne, follows the approval of the Parliamentary Advisory Subcommittee on Higher Education.
This means that, starting with the latest A/L results, students with disabilities will have access to the full spectrum of academic disciplines—an opportunity previously limited to just four faculties.
