Suspect with Organized Crime Links Arrested in Minuwangoda

COLOMBO (News 1st); A suspect was arrested in the Mahagama area of Minuwangoda with a locally manufactured revolver. 

The arrest was made by officers from the Western Province-North Crime Division.

During the raid, police also seized two bullets compatible with the firearm found in the suspect's possession. 

The suspect is a 26-year-old resident of Heenatiyana, Mahagama.

Police report that the suspect is an associate of Heenatiyana Mahesh, a known organized crime figure.
