COLOMBO (News 1st); The Scretary and former Chairman of the Bank of Ceylon Employees' Union were arrested on the charge of entering the President's House on July 09th.
Meanwhile, Colombo Additional Magistrate Harshana Kekuluwala ordered that activist Pathum Karner, who is currently in custody, to be presented for an identification parade.
He issued the relevant order when the complaint was taken up today (04), and Attorney-at-Law, Rienzi Arsakularatne, who appeared for Pathum Kerner, raised an objection and pointed out there is no legal basis for holding the identification parade as their client's photos have already been published in newspapers and other electronic media.
However, the Additional Magistrate rejected the objection and ordered to direct the suspect for the identification parade.
