March 11, 2010: Even a piece of paper is not allowed to take in, when meeting General Fonseka, said Anoma Fonseka addressing a media briefing held in Colombo today.
“I cannot take anything with me. I cannot even carry a piece of paper in my handbag. Everything is checked.
"Even the letters sent by my daughters through the internet are checked by them. They even check what is being replied. That is the situation.
"Recently the military spokesperson said that granting approval to carry a mobile phone when visiting my husband was a privilege that had been given. How can it be a privilege? The court has approved it,” said Anoma Fonseka.
