March 08, 2010: Visiting Indian Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao is scheduled to meet Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama.
The visiting dignitary held bilateral discussions with the President yesterday.
Furthermore, the English Teacher Training Institute which has been set up in Peradeniya with funds from India was also inaugurated yesterday, under the Patronage of the Indian Foreign Secretary.
The Foreign Ministry noted that the high level visit to Sri Lanka has strengthened political ties between the two nations.
