Canadian police charged a 27 year old French-Canadian student over the fatal shooting of six at a mosque in Quebec.
The individual named Alexandre Bissonnette faces six counts of first-degree murder and five of attempted murder.
As a result of the shooting, nineteen people were wounded. Five of them are still hospitalised while two are in a critical condition.
Vigils have been held across Canada to commemorate those killed and injured.
