Former Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia Mayor Summoned Over Drug Trafficker’s Cash Transaction

COLOMBO (News1st); Former Mayor of the Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia Municipal Corporation, Danasiri Amaratunga, has been summoned before the Colombo Central Crime Investigation Bureau.

This is in connection with an ongoing investigation regarding a cash transaction involving Shiran Basick, a large-scale drug trafficker currently in detention.

The police stated that statements are currently being recorded from Dhanasiri Amaratunga regarding the incident.
