COLOMBO (News 1st): Litro Gas Lanka reports that a stock of 42,000 metric tons of gas belonging to Sri Lanka is currently stationed in the Maldives.
Chairman Channa Gunawardana stated that efforts are underway to bring this stock to the island as quickly as possible, noting that the quantity is sufficient to meet the demand for the month of April.
Additionally, the Chairman announced that a vessel carrying 33,000 metric tons of gas required for the month of May is scheduled to arrive in the country on April 25th.
Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Officer of Laugfs Gas, Nalinda Kurukulasuriya, mentioned that a ship carrying 7,000 metric tons of gas is expected to reach the island on April 4th.
