Keheliya’s Daughter Released on Bail Over Alleged Role in Illicit Funds Case

COLOMBO (News 1st); Former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella’s daughter, Chamithri Jayanika Rambukwella, was released on bail today.

This followed her appearance before the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court this afternoon.

Chamithri Jayanika Rambukwella was taken into custody this afternoon after it was revealed that she had allegedly committed an offence under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.

She is accused of assisting former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella in laundering illicitly obtained funds.
