UK Pledges $890,000 in Emergency Aid for Sri Lanka’s Cyclone Recovery

COLOMBO (News 1st); As Sri Lanka begins to recover from the devastating impact of Cyclone Ditwah, the United Kingdom has pledged urgent humanitarian assistance amounting to $890,000 (£675,000).

This support will be delivered in partnership with the Red Cross, the United Nations in Sri Lanka, and local organizations to provide emergency supplies and life-saving care to affected communities.
