STF Target Drug Lords’ Inner Circle in Coordinated Raids

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Police Special Task Force (STF) has arrested three operatives allegedly working under three of Sri Lanka’s most notorious drug traffickers—Mabodale Supun, Allegoda Maddumage Dinesh Tharanga, and Badowita Asanka—during a series of targeted operations.

According to police sources, the suspects were found in possession of over 105 grams of crystal methamphetamine (Ice). 

One of the operatives, linked to Dinesh Tharanga, was also found with Rs. 4.45 million, believed to be proceeds from drug trafficking.

The arrests were made in coordinated raids across Divulapitiya, Boralesgamuwa, and Dehiwala, and the suspects have since been handed over to the respective police stations for further investigation.
