New National Record For Rasara Wijesuriya In Women’s 5000m

COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lanka’s Rasara Wijesuriya set a new national record in the women’s 5000m event.
She achieved the feat during the final at the 2025 University Games, clocking a time of 15 minutes and 52.6 seconds.
It marked her personal best performance, securing 11th place in the race.
