Four Masterminds Behind Lalith Kannangara’s Drug Network Arrested

Colombo(News 1st);Four suspects, believed to be the masterminds behind the drug trafficking operations of Lalith Kannangara, an organized criminal hiding in Dubai, have been arrested.

The Hanwella Police Special Task Force Motorcycle Squad arrested the four suspects, who are believed to be linked to Lalith Kannangara’s drug network.

According to the Police Special Task Force, while checking vehicles at a temporary roadblock, three motorcycles carrying the suspects ignored police orders and tried to flee.

Special Task Force officers chased them and managed to arrest them.

The suspects, aged between 35 and 49, are residents of the Hanwella area.

Police recovered 7 grams and 500 milligrams of the drug Ice from their possession.
