Finance Ministry Secretary Mahinda Siriwardena Receives One-Year Extension

Colombo (News 1st)-  Finance Ministry Secretary Mahinda Siriwardena has been granted a one-year service extension by President Ranil Wickremesinghe.

Siriwardena, who previously served as the Central Bank's Deputy Governor, retired from that position last Friday.

The President's Office cited Siriwardena's valuable contributions to International Monetary Fund negotiations and the ongoing debt restructuring process as the reason for the extension.
