04 suspects arrested for possesion of drugs in Biyagama

Colombo (News 1st); Police have uncovered information regarding a large-scale drug trafficking ring in Biyagama.

Interrogations revealed that this drug trafficking ring has been operating from a restaurant in the Biyagama.

Police have discovered nearly 30 kilograms of different types of drugs so far.

Police said they recovered 15 kg of the drug called ICE, 14 kg of Hashish, and 900 grams of Heroin in the possession of the suspects.

Four suspects have been arrested so far in connection with the drug trafficking ring.

The value of the seized drugs is estimated at Rs. 180 million.
