Strict rules to be imposed on school canteens

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Sri Lanka Public Health Inspectors' Union says strict rules and regulations will be imposed on school canteens.

Vice President of the PHI’s Union K.A.P. Boralessa said that a rise in non-communicable diseases was reported, especially among school children.

Boralessa added that the regulations at school canteens will be intensified, to ensure the diseases aren’t spread among the students.
