Route 145 bus workers on strike against Route 260

COLOMBO (News 1st); A strike, launched by private bus drivers operating along Route 145 from Mattakkuliya to Seemamalakaya on Tuesday (25), continued on Wednesday (26) as well.

They launched this strike against the decision to grant permits for the Route 260 Hendala - Colombo buses to operate along Route 145.

Passengers who travel along Route 145 were severely inconvenienced by the strike launched by the private bus workers.

Bus drivers parked their buses on either side of the road to protest, and police details were also deployed to the area.
