Body found floating on Diyawanna Oya

COLOMBO (News 1st); The body of a woman was found floating on the Diyawanna Oya on Tuesday (14) morning.
Police Spokesperson SSP Nihal Thalduwa speaking to News 1st said that the body was discovered based on a tip-off.
He said that police officers also located her footwear close by.
The Welikada Police is conducting an investigation.
