WEATHER: Evacuation Alert for several areas in Ratnapura

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Disaster Management Center has issued a landslide warning RED ALERT for several areas in the Ratnapura Distirct.

The warning is for the Ratnapura, Kalawana, Elapatha, Kuruwita and Eheliyagoda Divisional Secretary areas.

Accordingly locals are urged to evacuate to safe locations to avoid the risk of landslides, sloe failures, and rock falls.
