Bus incinerated in Dambulla

COLOMBO (News 1st) -  A private bus was completely destroyed after catching fire along the Dambulla, Habarana main road. The bus caught fire in an area between the 101 and 102 milepost in Inamaluwa. The bus caught fire when it was heading back to Batticaloa from Colombo following a repair. The bus driver and the owner who were travelling in the bus escaped the fire without any injuries. The police stated the bus was incinerated even before the fire brigade could make any attempts to douse the fire. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
