Colombo (News 1st): The Organisation for the Protection of Consumer Rights has called on the President to remove Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka from the Committee to inquire into proposed LNG power stations.
Journalists questioned the Minister today (Feb 28) on the criticisms levelled at him claiming that LTL had renovated one of his houses. Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka responding to them noted that none of his private houses have been renovated by LTL.
He noted that when he was the Minister of Power and Energy in 2010, he gave a contract to renovate his official residence.
