Colombo (News1st): Testifying at today’s session of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry on irregularities at SriLankan Airlines, SriLankan Catering, and Mihin Lanka was former Chief Financial Officer of the airlines, A.S Chandrasekara.
It was revealed at the commission today, that a business plan prepared by Chandrasekara in May 2011 for the restructuring of SriLankan was not taken into consideration by the senior management.
This business plan was later replaced by a new business plan, prepared by an unknown aviation consultancy firm know as Intervista. The adopted business plan required a capital injection of 500 million dollars.
