Fire destroys 7 shops in Chilaw

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Seven shops in Chilaw have burnt down due to a fire that erupted this morning (December 20).
The fire has been doused by the Fire Brigade of the Chilaw Urban Council. These shops which had contained consumer items for the festival season have been completely destroyed by the fire.
