COLOMBO (News1st); The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka said the Ceylon Electricity Board has been informed to provide the electricity tariff reduction proposals before the 10th of May.
The PUCSL said the relevant proposals were due on the 1st of May, adding however the CEB requested additional time.
Accordingly, the PUCSL granted additional time till the 10th of May.
The process to reduce electricity tariffs will commence, following the submission of the proposals.
The PUCSL said the electricity tariff reduction percentages will be announced in July.
